Today you can talk to someone without ever meeting them. This can be a good and bad thing in many ways.
All it takes is a few minutes in front of a screen and a keyboard just like I am doing right now. In those several minutes in front of that screen, you can learn new information, teach someone something new, or become well known. This could be done by posting a status, uploading a picture and or video, and lastly by putting a site up. All of this could brighten someone's day; regardless of the information or video that is put up, it is always seen by at least one person and what they decide to with that new information is their own choice. Some people could get lucky and be famous while others can help someone, even if they are many miles away or too sick to visit.
Technology has improved over time and it also has helped us learn new information. It has changed the world drastically, changing history and even motivating people to go out of their way and post a video of a dance they invent like Soujla Boy did or many other youtubers.
Aja Monet reminds us that “Revolutions are mobilized, picket signs are text messages”....... A soldier watches his son grow on a LCD screen.” We can help someone see family members who that they may not have a chance to visit due to the distance. Or, we can express our angers by sending messages or creating websites. A website or message could start a revolution and it could reach thousands of people all over the world.
