I am a feminist scholar-activist at John Jay College, an urban commuter campus and Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) in the heart of New York City. 

 

My research and teaching address gender & sexuality, sex work, social justice, inequalities, and feminism. I take intersectional, feminist, and queer perspectives in my responsibilities teaching, researching, and helping support my department and college with various service. 

 

Students can take undergraduate sociology and gender studies courses with me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sociology of Sexualities (SOC 243) visit to Bluestockings Bookstore in Spring 2017. With use of the Faculty Student Engagement Fund, each student was able to get a book!
