Inserting a Table

An ePortfolio does NOT function like a piece of paper.  You should not have headings on your webpages (that is not the genre of webpages, that is the genre of a high school essay assignment) or titles.  If you want to jazz up the page though and make the page's title part your DESIGN, then the tablemaker is a simple way to do so.  You can also obviously use the tablemaker to make tables, lists, graphs, etc.  The green box above was made with a tablemaker.

This image above is a banner that was made online.

It was made at puresilvabannermaker.com.  You might opt to use this rather than a table, but it takes a little longer.

Find the icon that is used for INSERT/EDIT TABLE.  It looks like a chart and pencil.  Click it open.

Under the general properties, you can decide the numbers of columns and rows. You can align it left or right.  And you can decide how thick you want the lines around your box.  If you don’t want your box to extend all the way across the webpage, then change the width size.

Under the advanced properties, you can decide the border color and background colors.  Scroll all the way to the bottom and select the colors that you want.
