Hello!!

My name is Dahiana Nunez. I am 17 years old. I am a freshman at john Jay College. My major is economics. My passion is working with numbers. I know it’s weird but I love math. Giving up is not a choice for me. I’m a laugher person, but when is time to focus and take thing serious I will. I’m very responsible for my work. Curiosity is a big part of my personality, I like to discover things that I don’t know and matter to me. I’m friendly and I like to help others people if I can. But I won’t lie, I’m super shy!

I can say that the four years of High School were the best years of my life. Those years were full of enjoy, stress, happiness, friendship, etc. I used to play softball in High School.  How ironic life is! I couldn’t wait to graduate and now I miss my old school, my friends, my teachers and everything in it. And here I am in a whole different environment where I need to focus on my goals and manage my time.

My parents means everything for me. My best friends, the ones I can tell everything and won’t tell what would be the me. The reason of who I want to be in the future.

I will make the most my colleges years and experience different stuff that would help me in my future job/career; stuff that will truly help decide what profession is best for me. That’s college about grow as human being and acknowledge yourself for the world we are living. I have so many goals and one is to finish college. By accomplishing this goal I can be someone that can contribute something in this society and a better person in the future. Also it’s a way to thanks my mother for everything she has done for me. We can get everything we want if we work really hard for it. Things don't come to you if you don't earn it.
