This Century Module is in progress.  Last year (fall 2013 and spring 2014), many students across many sections said that they wanted to see a separate section devoted entirely to the influences, often negative, connected with media.  Let’s build that together.  If you choose this Century Dilemma as your focus, do these three things (do not do the writing task on the syllabus):

1) Write about why YOU want or need a critical stance on and against the media is important for the 21st century;

2) Find an interesting and informative video, online article, or podcast (i.e., on some place like SoundCloud would be preferable), give a short introduction to it, and then explain why it is worth examining (include the URL in your writing);
