e-Portfolio Reflection

Anything that has to do with technology has always come more or less easy for me. Whether it was figuring out how to use a videocamera or learning how to code, I could do it. Creating and making this e-Portfolio look appealing to its reader took a little getting used to, but soon enough it became something like second nature. My e-Portfolio has become a better way to showcase my writing, submit my work for school, and give myself a "leg up" on maintaining a website, if I ever have to.

Throughout the rest of the semester, I will fine-tune each page by adding more hyperlinks, some videos, and some images. My goal is to post the rest of my work for the semester on this e-Portfolio and make it look appealing to whoever is going to read it. As it stands now, my e-Portfolio, in my own biased opinion, looks pretty good and flows rather well. But, I'll let whoever goes through it to decide for themselves.

Today, technology is at people's fingertips, and yet, most of us do not know how it works or how to truly use it. We can use Facebook and Twitter all day long, but if someone told us to make a website that had some of the functionality of the two, we would be dumbfounded and not know where to start.  Like Catarina Mota's TED talk video(shown below), this class has charged us with getting grips on an ever advancing technological culture by creating this e-Portfolio. It is a great to be able to use technology in our everyday lives, but it is wondrous to actually be able to apply technology to our lives and create something with it.
