Hi there, my name is Matthew Estrada.I was born and raised in New York City for the most part but spent some time in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania.Growing up in this city has given me a wealth of knowledge and perspectives on life and the world. I've found how influential being able to have perspective is. Everyone has views different from each other in some way or another that leads them to idealize a certain reality. This setting has pushed me to tread lightly and consider everyone's view of the world. I hope to gain more perspective by traveling the world in a criminal justice capacity. 

           Currently, I am a senior at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City double majoring in International Criminal Justice and Security Management. I decided to come to John Jay because I wanted to pursue a career in federal law enforcement with a focus on dismantling transnational organized crime operations. Many federal agencies work with criminal justice agencies in other countries in order to combat international organized crime. I would like to be stationed in other countries helping to defend the United States' national security while also promoting its core values.
