Being back in New York City was a reverse culture shock. Going from a country that only spoke Spanish to one that speaks multiple languages was surprising. The weather change, the music, the environment, the air, the people...everything changed and I felt disoriented and missed everyone. Coming back I jumped right back into the work environment: sending out emails, working on budgets, and working on final essays and exams and presentations. Below is my final photo essay in which my theme is that of Street Art in Cuba. The art in Cuba is similar yet very different from the street art in New York City. This presentation shows the angle of Cuba that I chose to focus and learn more of.
