The memorial of Baye de Cochinos (Bay of Pigs) was very different than Miami's. In Cuba, there was a museum dedicated to the event and it was a memorial for those who lost their life. It also displayed a timeline of the major events that occurred in Cuba prior to and after the Revolution of 1959. In one section of the museum, there were three walls that had pictures of all the victims and their names and a brief biography about them. It was interesting to see that in Cuba it was a huge event, however in the United States, Miami it is not a big part of their history.
