Saturday, January 7th: On this day six of us, including myself, were on the same flight that would take us from NYC JFK to Cancun, Mexico. The four-hour flight was a great one although we were not sitting next to one another. Then upon arriving in Cancun, it was a journey trying to get from one terminal to the other and waiting for more than 5 hours allowed us to bond and get to know each other better.
Tuesday, January 17th: on this day we had a Maya cooking class. During this class we made hand made tortillas, pick de gallos, guacamole, and empanadas. While preparing or food Angie, Geo, and Izzy began to to sing and beat b our names in a very catchy tune. This video shows the many skills we have: singing, beat boxing, recording, rhyming, and cooking.
