Lultum, Puuc Route, y Uxmal

Lultum was a cave that we went in to see cave paintings that's were discovered. Here we had to hike down and then back up through a specific way of the cave. It was cold and fresh inside the cave, and many were able to bang on rocks and take pictures of the cave paintings.

Another thing we saw and visited were the ruins along the Puuc Route. This route is known to have connected many major and minor cities to facilitate trade for the Mayas. Some of the places connected by this route are Tulum, Cobá, Chichen Itza and many more. On this excursion we traveled to certain points in which some were able to climb the ruins of pyramids and take lots of pictures.

At the end of this day, we traveled to Uxmal to see the light show. This show tells a story of a princess of Uxmal and a prince from Chichen Itza falling in love and being the cause of the end of the Maya civilization. Throughout the show certain lights changed colors and and certain pyramids were shown, but overall the story was interesting. Being outside in the fresh air watching made it even better and made me feel relaxed.
