During my last 2 years of high school, I was involved in a program by the name of  I-Mentor. I was matched with a mentor who had shared similar intrest as I did. My mentor happened to be Jun Hwa Lee, a lawyer in New York.

I-Mentor not only helped shape me into a better student, but it also allowed me to help others. My mentor and I would attend monthly events which included some activities such as creating holiday cards for sick children, networking events, and also even game night with each other to discuss what was going on in our lives.

Unfortunately my mentor and I drifted apart but she was there for me when I needed her, and I appreciate her advices to me at my times of need. She helped me look at many of my daily situations with new perspectives.

Deep down I-Mentor is still apart of me. It was there for me back in high school, and now in return I am there for other's who need my help and support.
